I have this piece also in red in the studio.
People are drawn to outdoor pieces- me too. And my intention was to create mobiles that will enhance an outdoor setting with motion and color. While the powdercoated aluminum can handle the wet environment, it does not like the heavy stormy weather that seems to be more often the case. If you would like one of these mobiles outside, you need to keep and eye on it and how it behaves in the wind. I highly recommend an alternative inside location for stormy days.
A plain silver colored aluminum might be the best solution.
